Invitation for Letters of Interest for Open Town Supervisor Seat : The Town of Gibraltar is accepting letters of interest for an open Town Supervisor seat.  The appointed individual will fulfill the balance of the supervisor term previously held by Steve Sohns, who was appointed as Town Chair at a special meeting of the Town Board on Monday, January 27. Sohns will carry out the balance of former Town Chair Dick Skare's term (until April 20, 2021).   With Sohn's supervisor seat now vacant, the Town Board will appoint a new supervisor to the position at the next regular Town Board Meeting, Wednesday, February 5 at 7 p.m. Interested individuals should submit a letter of interest to the Town Office by 12 p.m., Monday, February 3. Letters can be submitted in person to the Town Office (4097 Main Street), by mail (P.O. Box 850, Fish Creek, WI 54212) or by email ([email protected]).  Please note this appointment is separate from the supervisor seats on the ballot for the Spring Election in April.

Internet Service Questionnaire

The Door County Economic Development Corporation is conducting a county-wide survey about the Internet needs and wants of Door County residents. Rural areas like Door County struggle to keep up with broadband service and speed, which impacts the lives of residents and the ability to attract necessary workers and business owners. As a means to quantify concerns, the Door County Economic Development Corporation is asking residents to answer the following questionnaire.
