Household Hazardous Waste Collection Event: Door County will be hosting two FREE Household Hazardous Waste Collection Events in November! Friday, November 6, 2026 | 2:00–4:00 p.m.Sister Bay/Liberty Grove Fire Station, 2258 Mill Road, Sister Bay Saturday, November 7, 2026 | 9:00–11:00 a.m.Door County Highway Department, 1001 S. Duluth Avenue, Sturgeon Bay Door County residents are encouraged to take advantage of this opportunity to safely dispose of unwanted household hazardous waste, including old gasoline, household cleaners, pesticides, oil-based paints, and other chemicals. Please see the attached flyer for a complete list of accepted materials, prohibited items, and drop-off instructions.

Gibraltar recently became the 28th GreenTier Legacy Community in the state of Wisconsin. What is the Green Tier Legacy program? It's a unique partnership between Wisconsin communities, non-profit organizations, and state agencies focused on advancing sustainable practices. Members work together to share information and work towards sustainable practices. The mission of the Charter is to assist municipalities to move faster and to go further with their sustainability goals.
