Emergency response capabilities are currently severely limited due to extreme snowfall, drifting, and blocked roadways.Residents are strongly urged to shelter in place and stay home due to life-threatening travel conditions. This will allow highway crews to safely resume operations when conditions allow and help emergency responders reach those who truly need assistance.Emergency responders and highway crews are working to address conditions as they are able; however, heavy snow, drifting, and blocked roads may significantly delay response times.Staying off the roads will help ensure emergency services can respond where they are needed most.If you are experiencing an emergency and need assistance, please dial 9-1-1.Please continue to monitor local updates and take all necessary precautions to stay safe during this storm

In-Person Absentee Voting Ends Today at 5 p.m.

A friendly reminder that today, Friday, October 30, is the last day for in-person absentee voting. The Gibraltar Town Office will have extended hours until 5 p.m. this evening to accommodate those who wish to vote before Election Day. No ballots may be taken out of the clerk’s office. Please remember to bring your photo ID. (A list of acceptable photo IDs can be found at www.bringit.wi.gov.)
