The Town of Gibraltar is a township located in the heart of northern Door County. It also includes the unincorporated communities of Fish Creek, Juddville, and Maple Grove.
Public Wi-Fi is accessible at the Town Center and the Fish Creek Library.
Yes, the Old Town Hall and the Fire Department meeting room, as well as Sunset Beach Park, Clark Park, Fish Creek Beach, and Fish Creek Park, are available to rent for private and non-profit events. An application form, fees and rental guidelines can be accessed here.
Seasonal slip spaces are currently full. To be added to the wait list, please fill out and submit this form to the Town Office. Transient slips can be reserved on a first-come, first-served basis on the Fish Creek Town Dock website. Mooring availability is based on the size of the boat. Please contact the Town Office at 920-868-1714 for further details and availability.
A courtesy car, as well as courtesy bicycles, are available at the airport on a first-come, first-serve basis from May 15 - October 15. Please call the Town office at 920-868-1714 for further assistance.
Burial and cremation sites at Blossomberg Cemetery are limited to Town of Gibraltar property owners only, with extended rights to purchase sites available to the mothers, fathers, sons and daughters, and spouses of persons buried in Blossomberg Cemetery. To purchase a burial site, contact the Town Office at 920-868-1714. For complete rules and fees click here
Aside from available street side parking, there is a public parking lot located behind the Town Center (4097 Main Street). There is also an electric car charging station located in the back corner of the parking lot.
RVs are allowed to park in the municipal lot overnight, however no overnight camping in the vehicle while it is parked in the lot is allowed.
Boat trailers may park in the boat trailer parking area, located just to the east of the Town Center parking lot. Parking in the boat trailer parking area is by permit only. Please call the Town Office at 920-868-1714 to purchase a parking permit.

Zoning & Building
The Town of Gibraltar is under county zoning. Therefore, the Town follows the Door County Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance that can be accessed and downloaded here.
In some areas of the zoning ordinance, Gibraltar has specific zoning requirements in addition to the county requirements. Please direct questions to Door County Land Use Services at 920-746-2323
Before requesting a local permit, contact Door County Land Use Services to request any necessary county permits. All local permit application forms are available on the Town website in fillable pdf format. For specific questions contact the Town building inspector Brett Guilette at 920-495-3232. The Town does not have a location where residents can dispose of yard waste and brush. Residents can request a burning permit to burn yard waste and brush. To request a burning permit, visit the Town Office during regular business hours or call the Town Office at 920-868-1714.

Airport Commission—3rd Thursday of the month at 9 a.m.
Building Committee — 3rd Monday of the month at 7 p.m.
Harbor Commission—3rd Wednesday of the month at 7:30 a.m.
Parks & Lands Committee—3rd Tuesday of the month at 8 a.m.
Plan Commission — 4th Tuesday of the month at 7 p.m.

Permits, Licenses & Inspections
A burning permit can be obtained from the Town Office during regular business hours or by calling the Town Office at 920-868-1714. For the complete fire and burning rules and regulations click here.
All dogs over 5 months of age must be licensed annually. Download the dog license application and mail or drop off the form with proof of rabies vaccination and payment to: Town of Gibraltar, PO Box 850, Fish Creek, WI 54212.
