Fire Department warming station: Due to the forecast of significant snowfall and high winds, the Gibraltar Fire and Rescue Station will be open beginning at 6:00 p.m. Saturday and will remain open through Monday for people who may need a safe, warm place during the storm. Anyone planning to come should arrive before conditions worsen. Travel during the height of the storm may become difficult, dangerous, or impossible, and emergency responders may not be able to reach you if you become stranded or stuck. Residents using the station should bring essential personal items, including medications, bedding or blankets if needed, food and beverages, and other necessary supplies. Travel conditions may make it difficult to leave until Monday, so please plan accordingly.

Spring Election April 2, 2019

The Spring Election is April 2, 2019. Polls open at 7 a.m. and close at 8 p.m and are located at the Gibraltar Town Center, 4097 Main Street.


In-person absentee voting beings Monday March 18, 2019 and continues through Friday March 29, 2019 at the town offices located in the Town Center. Voting hours are:

Monday March 18 – Friday March 22, 2019 10 a.m. – 3 p.m.

Monday March 25 – Wednesday March 27, 2019 10 a.m. – 3 p.m.

Thursday March 28 – Friday March 29, 2019 10 a.m. – 5 p.m.
